Can America recognize the reality check? Can the liberal main-stream media muster the moral courage to face the music, now that the fat lady is tuning up?

I didn’t forge any documents or interview any bogus overzealous partisan political hacks to arrive at the grand conclusion that Dan must have known what he was engaging in. I didn’t need to.

We’re not talking about some freshman crack reporter for the Podunk High School Gazette here; we’re talking about Dan Rather….THE Dan Rather!

Though it took Dan Rather and CBS about 10 days to finally come forward with the breaking news that their story on Bush’s Guard service was bogus, backed only by forged documents and partisan hate-mongering, a few hundred part-time internet sleuths figured it out in about 10 minutes. How is this possible?

It’s only possible one of two ways.

Either Dan has completely lost his nose for news, or, he has relinquished any remaining sense of personal integrity. Take your pick…

Either way, the only thing that can salvage Dan’s credibility now is a well worded resignation from his post as head of the CBS news desk, because either way, he can never be trusted to tell the news in a credible fashion again.

This wasn’t getting the background on a cat stuck in a tree story wrong. This was a mean spirited (and fraudulent mind you) attempt to bring down the sitting President of the United States of America, using overly obvious fake information from obviously questionable sources.

This changes everything! No matter ones politics, America can not survive wholesale politicking from the nations news desks, and truth in reporting is not a partisan issue, is it?

I know what you’re thinking, they all do it. Yes they do, but Dan got caught in the worst possible way, with his hand in the cookie jar so to speak. If we don’t do something about it right now, is there any hope that the rest of the news media will ever get it right?

Is it possible that Dan, his crack seasoned investigative staff, his producers and CBS executives were all “misled” by one crackpot Democrat with an obvious ax to grind? You tell me…

Dan and his staff wasted no time ruling more than 250 decorated Vietnam Vets “liars” and “right wing conspirators”, and now we know they got that wrong too.

Did Dan get it wrong? BIG TIME! Now America, the news industry, CBS and Dan must get it right. Dan needs to resign, anyone involved at CBS must be fired, and the Kerry camp (where the fraud originated), needs to be charged with campaign fraud…

Time to Just Say It!

Written by JB Williams

Politicians have successfully divided 290 million individuals into a handful of nice neat little voting blocks easy to pander to. The liberal media (who is rarely fair or balanced about anything), has brain soaked the country into thinking “fair & balanced” reporting is of more value than just plain “truthful” reporting.

In the real world, truth is often unbalanced and rarely fair, especially to those who find themselves standing on the wrong side of truth.

Occasionally, circumstances demand that we set aside congeniality and get right down to calling things by their rightful name. This seems like one of those occasions.

I’m not sure there has ever been more at stake than in this election, but atop the list is the impending extinction of truth.

Political correctness can sometimes serve the worth while purpose of setting an amenable tone for public discourse. But in case you hadn’t noticed, the current tone in America is anything but amenable. So political correctness has lost its luster, and it is no longer of any viable use.

What I’m about to tell you is not something you don’t already know. It’s just stuff you have forgotten because nobody has been allowed to say it around here for a long time.

At one time, liberal was not a dirty word. But many of today’s liberals are better described by the term socialist, and though they seem to not care much for this term, it is no less appropriate.

Here’s another term liberals bristle at, anti-American. This is also the correct term for the behavior I have been witnessing for some years, and that permeates the liberal movement today.

I realize these terms seem harsh in a day when we are not supposed to call things by their rightful name. But sometimes, when we call evil by a more pleasant name, we overlook the fact that it is still evil.

Today’s liberals, today’s Democratic Party leadership, and the handful of billionaires supporting them, are in fact socialists and they are in fact anti-American.

Of all the words used to describe what America is, what defines being American, there are none more appropriate than the words written long ago. That every man is “created” equal, with the uniquely American Right and opportunity to become anything we want, including “unequal”.

Of all the Rights we have enjoyed since our nations birth, there are none more precious than our individual Right to Life, personal Liberty, and the Right of each of us, black, white, rich, poor, third generation or immigrant American, to pursue our own unique idea of happiness.

America is the richest nation on earth as a direct result of our economic design. America not only produces more millionaires than any country in earth’s history, but everyone fortunate enough to call themselves American, enjoys a lifestyle second to none in the world.

So if you are anti-Capitalism, you are anti-American, because nothing is more American than good old fashion capitalism.

95% of Americans consider themselves to be spiritual, believing in a higher power, a greater good, a life beyond this life, and since the beginning of time, this bedrock belief has served our nation well.

Further, America is predominantly a Christian nation, and because it is, even those who are non-believers enjoy blessings most in the world can’t imagine. Because our nation was built on the foundation of Judeo Christian values, we are all free to worship as we see fit, including not at all.

So if you are anti-religion, you are in fact anti-American. You must realize that there is a difference between being a non-believer, and being an antagonist, a difference between not subscribing to the belief, and belittling others who believe, or who freely express their belief.

America believes first and foremost in our individual Right to Life. Liberty and happiness are unattainable without first obtaining a Right to live.

If you believe its right to deny anyone this most basic Right, you are in fact anti-American. If you deny anyone this Right as a matter of convenience, you are no better than those we condemn around the globe for acts of genocide, or brutality against their own, and you are un-American.

America is the worlds super-power, not only militarily, but also economically, spiritually and in our unparalleled acts of generosity practiced at home and around the globe. We are, because America has always stood tall in the face of evil, always refused to allow ourselves to be divided, especially while confronting an evil.

America is known around the world as the world’s great melting pot. People have come from all corners, of different ethnicities, different talents, different dreams, different individual challenges and different circumstances. And for more than two hundred years, we have melted into one society, as American’s.

Those who aim to divide us now, based on our race, our economic status, our Religious beliefs, our individual understanding of the world, particularly in the name of political opportunism, are in fact, un-American.

Thousands gave their lives, their futures, so that we might have the chance to live and grow in this, the greatest nation on earth. They gave everything, so that we might have something worth fighting for. No matter how high minded your intentions, if you are willing to trade this to be a small piece of any one world order, you are in fact un-American.

There is no getting around the truth. The truth doesn’t have a side, it doesn’t belong to any particular political Party, it’s not subject to the eye of the beholder, or negotiable, it just is.

America is more than a piece of land, a geographical spot on the globe. It is a set of ideals, a way of life, a people, free because we are brave. Brave not because we are willing to die for our own freedom, but because we have always been willing to die for the freedom and liberty of others, even when we didn’t have to.

To forget this, to degrade it or belittle it, to play politics with it, is un-American.

Many liberals are not just liberal today, they are socialists, and they are un-American for all the reasons I stated and more. The DNC needs new leadership and they will continue to lose power until they get it.

The simple truth is, that’s how it should be!

Where’s the Story?

Written by JB Williams

©2004-09-15

Does anyone besides Dan Rather and Terry McAuliffe think there is a story in the big blockbuster now threatening to bring down CBS, Dan Rather, the DNC, the Kerry campaign, and every other sleazy liberal sludge slinger?

A young George W. Bush, (eldest son of Sr. statesmen George H. Bush) may have gotten special treatment in the Guard 30 years ago, and this is “news”?

What is it about this story that is so potentially damning towards Bush, that Democrats were willing to forge documents in order to level the charge?

Only in this 2004 election, where Presidential candidate George Soros, I mean Al Kerry, I mean John Kerry has made a mockery of the entire election process, would this story even make the funny papers.

And how come there is a glaringly obvious different set of standards for “W” who has an honorable discharge from his Guard service, and the DNC’s favorite son, Bill Clinton, who wrote repeatedly how much he “loathed” the military in order to dodge his service?

How is it that Dick Cheney is a “coward” according to slander point man Tom Harkin, for requesting and receiving college deferment, but Bill Clinton was a conscientious dissenter, a genius in search of a degree?

How is Kerry’s request for deferment to study in France, any different than Cheney’s, other than Kerry’s request was denied, leaving him little choice but to serve?

What should we call John Edwards who didn’t serve at all, and whose only claim to fame is making a fortune on the misfortune of others, then buying himself a seat in the Senate only to blow that career in his first term?

Don’t Democrats realize what they are saying about all soldiers who ever wore a Guard uniform, (including those dying in battle today), when they call Bush a “champagne soldier” for serving in the Guard instead of “the real mans’ Army”? (Or Navy I guess)

And why are liberals so offended when anyone dare question the self appointed hero status of their fearful leader, but they take pleasure in impugning the character and integrity of more than 250 decorated veterans who served with Kerry?

There is a story here alright, but it isn’t the special treatment of the son of a US statesmen. Even if it were true, we have been doing this since the beginning of time, and frankly, for good reason.

The son of any Sr. statesmen presents a special kind of target to any enemy during war time. The killing or better yet, capturing of the son of a US Diplomat in war is something we have always tried to avoid. Bush didn’t have to do any military service if he didn’t want to.

So where’s the story?

Here’s the story…never before has a choice of candidate been so bad that the Party campaign strategy was to make all candidates suck as much as their guy.

Never before has a main stream news outlet been caught red handed blatantly promoting forged documents in an effort to advance their own political agenda.

The story is, we ain’t talking about Dan Bland here, star reporter for the Podunk High School paper.

The story is, Dan Rather, (today’s self proclaimed Walter Cronkite) is a joke, as is the DNC and their socialist puppet, John (I’m a hero) Kerry!

They should have let Howard Dean do his own thing. Sure, he’s a nutcase whacko, but at least he comes by it honestly…

Unprecedented Evil Within…

Written by JB Williams

©2004-09-13

It has been clear for some years that the Democratic Party has no penchant for truth, and a visibly growing desperation for power. But the American people are witnessing an unbridled Evil within that Party today that is unprecedented, and that’s what makes the blood boil in good old America loving Democrats like Zell Miller.

The DNC thought they could get away with running our nations most liberal senator as a war time Presidential candidate on the basis of his four months in Vietnam, until his fellow soldiers came out of the woodwork challenging his self appointed hero status. Then they thought they could triangulate their attackers by painting 254 decorated Vets as liars and right wing conspirators.

Then former POW’s who were tortured with Kerry’s illegitimate 1971 testimony came forward and have launched their own 45 minute movie detailing the damage done by Kerry’s anti-American grandstanding, and again, the DNC hopes to convince average voters that all of these guys are liars and right wing conspirators as well.

Unable to run a campaign on Kerry achievements in the senate, (because he doesn’t have any), unable to sell Kerry as a man strong on national security, (because his senate record shows he isn’t), and down in the polls as a result of giving the people nothing to vote for, the Party and the candidate have leaped out of the gutter they have been living in and into the sewer, removing all restraints on winning this election, including truth and common decency.

Unable to convince the public that Kerry is a candidate worthy of support, they are attempting to crawl back into the race by convincing the public that George W. Bush is somehow equally unworthy of our support.

Lacking any evidence to support their charges, they have clearly decided to invent some evidence of their own.

We are now 98% certain that the documents used by Dan Rather on 60 Minutes to launch a Kerry attack campaign against Bush and his Guard service are in fact, forgeries. We are 90% sure that the documents were delivered to CBS by someone in the Kerry camp, an allegation CBS has refused to deny.

60 Minute’s is an appropriate name for the show, because that’s how long it took to prove the story was bogus. Only Dan Rather, one crackpot from Texas who had two nervous breakdowns and a failed law suit against the government, and the DNC are standing behind the story.

Everyone else who has looked at the documents ruled them forgeries.

This is nothing new for the modern DNC, McAuliffe, Gore, Kerry, and many others have a long history of inventing campaign rhetoric aimed at tricking voters into blind Party loyalty at election time.

Media bias slanted heavily in favor of the DNC is not new either, especially from folks like Dan Rather and CBS.

What’s unprecedented is the lengths to which both the Democratic Party and the media are willing to go to unseat this particular President.

Putting a negative (albeit inaccurate) spin on your opponent’s policies and results has long been an accepted campaign practice in American politics. Politicizing a war effort became acceptable during Vietnam, and it was made famous by the current challenger to the White House, at the expense of his fellow soldiers.

But this is a whole new level of low, never before seen in American politics. A Party so desperate for power that they will say and do absolutely anything they can dream up in order to acquire that power.

A media outlet so biased, that they intentionally overlook what is obviously fraudulent evidence, intentionally ignore all witnesses who can easily dispute the charges as Dan Rather did, and dig their heels in hoping to weather the firestorm their actions created, as CBS has, is unbelievable.

Even more unbelievable is the number of Kerry supporters who hate Bush so much, that they are willing to join in the hate filled degradation of 254 decorated Vets, countless former POW’s and their families for the sake of removing Bush from office.

They are willing, like their Party and their candidate, to politicize anything, malign anyone, and invent any evidence they can dream up, look the other way when confronted with facts, or the lack their of, all for what?

Bush, McCain, even Al Gore signed form 180 authorizing the government to release all available records, but not John Kerry, his 180 form remains unsigned, why?

Kerry says Bush didn’t complete his service to the Guard, but Bush has an honorable discharge from his service. Kerry on the other hand, did not acquire his honorable discharge from the Navy until March of 2001, almost 30 years after leaving the military, why?

Jim Rassmann’s 15 minutes with Kerry made Kerry a hero in his mind, fine. Why is his 15 minutes of knowledge more powerful than 254 Vets who ate, bunked, commanded and served beside Kerry for weeks or months?

Never mind all of that, ask yourself why Kerry is running from his 20 year senate record, instead of running on it? If you go research his senate record, you will find out why…

Ask yourself why Kerry would work so hard, including forging evidence to destroy his opponents service record, and yet, refuse to sign form 180 to authorize the release of his own records, (which likely include the reasons why it took him 30 years after leaving the Navy to negotiate an honorable discharge)?

Ask yourself why Dan Rather would allow himself to be used by the DNC in this fashion? Dan has been around too long to plead ignorance.

Ask yourself why 254 decorated Vets would make up lies 35 years later, and expose themselves and their families to the onslaught of attacks from the DNC? Why countless POW’s would come forward more than 30 years later, and make up stories about the effects of John Kerry’s grandstanding back home?

Why Officer Kerry would have testified before congress, but not reported anything to his superior command regarding the atrocities he allegedly had first hand knowledge of, even committed himself?

Why won’t Kerry sign a sworn affidavit disputing the Swift Vets, 60 of whom have signed sworn affidavits challenging Kerry?

Answer all of these questions, and you will have answered the question of why the DNC and the Kerry campaign have jumped into the sewer of political strategies. You will have also answered why CBS and Dan Rather have sold out their integrity, what little they ever had.

Clearly, some media outlets, and some American voters are so blinded by their hatred of Bush, so jaded by their socialist ideological agenda, that all of this is acceptable to them, winning being all that matters. But what about the rest of America?

The rest of America should be outraged at the entire DNC campaign process, from their selling out to socialists like George Soros who fund the DNC propaganda machines, to their willingness to forge documents as needed.

Everyone knew that 2004 was going to make the 2000 election look reasonable by comparison. Nobody knew exactly how ugly it was going to get, to what extremes the left would go in an attempt to unseat Bush.

This will be our nation’s first billion dollar election, and the DNC will spend 70% of that trying to destroy Bush’s character and record by any means they can dream up.

The Bush camp is not likely to drop to their level, so the American people will have to get it right on their own come November, and I think they will!

Hope isn’t on the way, it is already here.

The hope of America isn’t John Kerry and John Edwards, or any other politician. It’s the American people, who still know a fraud when they see one!

Nowhere to Run…

Written by JB Williams

©2004-09-06

Accelerating free fall pretty well describes the current Presidential campaign status of DNC candidate John Kerry’s 2004 bid for the White House. Having been spanked like the red headed step child of Saddam Hussein for weeks now, by everyone from his fellow Vietnam Vets and POW’s, to his fellow Democrat Senator Zell Miller, he sends out a distress signal and calls the Clinton cavalry in an attempt to save his sinking ship.

From his hospital bed awaiting open heart surgery, Clinton gives the beleaguered candidate his best professional campaign advice, “Stop talking about Vietnam”, advice that would have been more useful before the DNC convention.

Former President Clinton advised Kerry to begin talking about jobs, the economy, and health care, to shift the focus off of what he did or didn’t do in Vietnam 35 years ago, and on to what he wants to do in the next four years. Seems like sound advice to me, if it were any other candidate besides John Kerry, that is.

John Kerry’s biggest problem is he’s got nowhere to run, and nothing to run on!

What started out as 254 fellow Vets with an ax to grind, has become a full scale Navy investigation into Kerry’s medals, and it isn’t going away. Trying to shift the focus off of this story is a great idea, though probably not possible at this stage.

In order to shift the focus, there has to be something to shift the focus to, and that in itself presents a bit of a problem for candidate Kerry. Shift the focus to what, jobs?

Bush is running a 5.4% unemployment rate at present, which has steadily dropped for the last 14 months and is now below the Clinton 5.5% unemployment rate when he was running for re-election in “96”. In addition, small business start-ups and job opportunities have sky rocketed during the last 4 years, and these numbers are not reflected in the standard employment figures at all, making the picture even brighter than reported.

Can he shift to the economy? Maybe, but it’s pretty hard to sell in a time when America is experiencing the best economic expansion numbers in more than 30 years, with home ownership at an all time high, and interest rates near an all time low.

He can’t shift the debate to the war on terrorism, or national security, because both are a clear winner for Bush and Co., and John Kerry and his running mate have two of the worst voting records on both, which is why they chose to run on his four months in Vietnam to begin with.

That leaves the topic of heath care. This too is a problem for Kerry, having been in the Senate for 20 years without having made a single effort to address the issue. Being a member of the Party responsible for destroying health care in America with the invention of the HMO, not to mention their support of ambulance chasing and liberal judges that have lead to the sky rocketing heath care costs won’t help either.

What’s left to run on? John Kerry’s only hope of getting back in this race is to successfully demonize his opponents.

So, they return to the old tricks of attacking Bush’s service as a so-called “champagne soldier” in the Guard, which of course discredits all those “champagne soldiers” now dying on the battlefield in a National Guard uniform.

They will bring back the “Bush was AWOL in Alabama” charge. But the problem here is that nobody besides Terry McAuliffe has ever made such a charge. Unlike Kerry’s situation, there are no 254 fellow service men that came forward to make the charge, or even 1, then or now, just one crusty old DNC warhorse without a viable candidate of his own.

They will beat the Halliburton/Cheney drum some more, but it’s hard to make a case that anyone is getting rich from a government contract when the government is late paying the contract. It’s even harder to prove any impropriety when Halliburton is the world leader in their industry, with lots of experience in such missions, and the only one with the financial stability to do the work required while waiting to get paid.

They will continue to accuse Bush of running negative attack ads, but so far, Bush has not run any. They will continue to suggest that the Swift Vets are a Bush front, but they aren’t, and Bush has no real control over them, or any other 527.

They will bring out the “Bush lied” hammer. But most people are now aware that Kerry and Edwards, along with the Clinton administration, 75% of congress and most of the free world made the exact same case for removing Hussein from power, and the bi-partisan 911 Commission concluded that all of them were right.

It appears to me that John Kerry’s 15 minutes may have already come and gone. I’m no campaign expert, but I don’t see anywhere else for Kerry to run, or even hide.

Even the old right wing conspiracy thing won’t fly, as if it really ever did.

The RNC Convention showcased Republican Party moderates. However, none of their messages were the least bit moderate, proving that if there is indeed a conspiracy under way, it isn’t coming from the right wing extremists, but rather from the Party centrists, moderates who pulled no punches calling Kerry unfit for the office of commander in Chief, not on the basis of what he did 35 years ago, or said 30 years ago, but on the basis of what he has done, or not done since.

It’s not over until it’s over, but I can sure hear the fat lady warming up…

Kerry has a problem, and not one he can solve by firing campaign staff, or hiring Clinton hatchet men. His problem is, he has no campaign and he never did.

Trying to invent a campaign where one doesn’t exist has proven to not only be difficult, but costly, both in terms of record soft money spending, and in terms of personal credibility.

In the end, Kerry will have only accomplished the same thing Al Gore did in 2000, making Clinton look good!

Mired in False Victimism…

Written by JB Williams

©2004-09-02

I’m reminded of the early days of labor unions in America, when mob bosses who ran the unions would order hits on small mom and pop merchants in the lower east side, then send bag men out to neighboring merchants to collect “protection” money, offering to protect these folks from similar attacks.

Of course, anyone who refused to pay would be next on the list for a hit until everyone in the  neighborhood was paying protection money. This is the early history of “collective bargaining”, the game is called “hurt and rescue”, it is now the nucleus of the DNC strategy, and it is false victimism.

It’s no real surprise that these tactics found their way into the DNC. Though the majority of union employees are not Democrats, the Party remains influenced by union bosses today.

Contrary to Party rhetoric, most Americans are not victims of any sort today, except for those victims of DNC rhetoric…

The whole basis for the Kerry/Edwards campaign is this idea of two Americas, one of tyrannical moralistic bible-thumpin’ capitalists monsters, and the other, their victims. One America, well aware of the millions liberated by American soldiers around the globe, and one that views the world as yet another victim of America’s tyrannical occupation.

See, in order for a rescue mission to be launched, someone, somewhere, needs to be a victim, and someone needs to be a villain. So begins the demonizing of conservatives.

Hope is on the way” is the latest catch phrase of the Kerry/Edwards campaign, which translates into, “you are all victims, and we are coming to save you”. This is supposed to conjure an image in our minds, of two knights in shining armor, galloping in on silver steeds, to rescue us, the poor down-trodden victims of capitalist tyrannical abuse.

For some, it does just that, and for these folks, guess what, they are sure enough victims. After years of being told that there is no room at America’s table for them, they have eventually come to believe it. The relentless drum beat of false victimism has taken its toll, and a growing segment of the American population is now willing to trade their freedom, for a few morsels from the table.

It’s not important at all that any of it be true, only that people believe it. If enough people believe it to be true, it will become true, at least for them.

All of a sudden, where there once was only one America free and full of prosperity, now there are two. Where once, people would rather die of starvation than except a hand out, now an endless stream of government handouts begins to sound better and better.

Once accustomed to being hand fed by the government, the cycle is almost complete. The victims have been created, the villain identified, the rescue call has gone out, and it’s all finished but the vote grabbing.

Today, we have American’s living in captivity. People, who once had the heart of a wild lion, now fearing death by starvation if their captors ever decide to stop hand feeding them.

In a country with a 94.5% employment rate, (the best in the world), with home ownership at an all time high, (even among minorities), the DNC has managed to convince these folks that things couldn’t possibly be worse, and that their very existence is in danger, if we don’t call in the Kerry/Edwards Cavalry.

We should forget any thought of addressing our own problems, we shouldn’t even try, according to the DNC we can’t do it anyway, and we shouldn’t have to. Only electing Kerry/Edwards can save us now.

The reasons why John Kerry is unelectable are endless, and in my opinion, he won’t be elected. But something far more dangerous is going on in our country, and left unattended, like most illnesses, it will only get worse.

The idea that America can be boiled down into only two groups of any description is troubling.

We are a nation of individuals, not voting blocks. Those freedoms and liberties guaranteed in our Constitution are guaranteed to individuals, not special interest groups.

The DNC has two supporting groups today, those they have programmed to play victims, and those they have convinced to participate in the process of holding those victims captive.

The latter are well intended in most cases, feeling a respectable sense of obligation to their fellow human beings. But they have been misled and their sincerity and generosity has been exploited.

A few years ago, a neighbor of mine lost his job (during the Clinton administration), two of them in fact. With a family to feed, he took his home lawn mower and hit the streets selling his services. Now, I can mow my own lawn, but I hired him instead, so did a lot of others, and today, he operates several lawn care crews and lives in a home bigger than mine. This is America!

Though the DNC has been successful in convincing a certain segment of the American population that the American Dream is no longer available to them, people by the thousands arrive on our shores every day. With often only the shirts on their backs, unable to even speak a word of English, they learn, and they work and they sacrifice and they succeed in America at an unbelievable rate.

They do this because they only know of one America, the one their parents, or grandparents told them about, where people are free to pursue their dreams, what ever those dreams are, and where all things are possible, regardless of where you came from, or what you are starting with.

This is the America most Republicans see, and that’s because this is the America most Republicans have experienced first hand. This is the real America, home of the brave, not the fearful, land of the free, not of the free ride.

Bush is likely to be re-elected this fall on the single most important issue facing our nation and the world today, the war against terror. But there is at least one more reason why he should be re-elected.

He and his Party represent the true spirit responsible for America’s greatness. A strong, steady, determined, and compassionate spirit, like no other country on earth has ever known.

Yes, much of the world envies our strength and our prosperity, even hates us for it at times, but they are also in one way or another, dependent upon it. This spirit remains the hope of every American, and many people around the globe as well. A better tomorrow is made possible by this spirit, and the actions that spring forth from it.

The era of big government will never be over in America, until the era of false victimism ends first.

Every day marks a new beginning in America, a chance to either control our circumstances, or be controlled by them, a chance to see the opportunities in our challenges, or only the challenges in our opportunities.

This chance is America’s promise. Whether you choose true self reliant freedom and liberty, or government supported false victimism, America will keep its promise, to make it your choice.

Moore Wrong than Usual!

Written by JB Williams

©2004-08-31

Of all the credited real journalists USA Today could have sent to the RNC convention, they chose schlock movie maker Michael Moore to arm with press credentials. And Moore says the main stream media is conservative….Ha!

In typical Moore style, he roamed the floor of the convention, microphone in hand, asking baited leading questions of unsuspecting convention goers in search of those few rare gems that will be sliced and diced into yet another propaganda film I’m sure.

But in earning his press credentials with USA Today, he delivered his analysis of the opening nights activities to his part time employer for publication this morning, proving once again that he can be counted on to get the story exactly wrong.

His headline reads “The GOP doesn't reflect America and he makes his case this way…

  • New York is the perfect home for Republicans because they have a Republican Mayor, a Republican Governor, and Wall Street. In Moore’s mind, this makes New York RNC territory, despite the fact that New Yorkers are registered 5 Democrats to every 1 Republican.
  • Moore is shocked to learn that the Republicans he spoke with on the floor believed in equal employment and pay Rights, cleaner air and water, and none of them appeared to be the least bit homophobic.
  • Moore describes these folks as “RINO’s”, (Republican In Name Only) because they are not at all as he and the liberal media have portrayed them, as hateful, self centered, rich snobs who want to tyrannize Americans with their principled values.
  • And on this basis, he concludes that these “RINO’s” are at the wrong convention, and that “The GOP doesn’t reflect America

In typical liberal fashion, Moore views himself as the “enlightened” one in the room.

But as he has demonstrated many times in the past, he is in fact the ignorant one. His ignorance and that of liberal Democrats begins with the ridiculous premise that in order to be Republican, one must march in lockstep with Party leadership on every single issue.

His ignorance continues on the belief that although New York (5 of every 6 registered Democrat) elected two Republican Mayors and a Republican Governor, that somehow, Republicans don’t connect with average Republicans, let alone average Americans.

When shouted down and booed by the convention crowd, he again demonstrated his intellectual prowess with a big “L” to the crowd, as his blood visibly boiled.

But fear not, Moore may eventually see the real light. He once thought that it was just Bush who was not as enlightened as he, then Cheney, Powell, Rice and even America’s darling and the first DNC choice for VP, John McCain.

Now he has decided that everyone at the convention is also less enlightened than he, and apparently, so are those New York Democrats who elected two Republican Mayors and a Republican Governor.

He’s not alone in his belief, the DNC has been banking on mass public ignorance for years now.

The DNC faithful, mostly the hard-line “anybody but Bush” folks are the truly “enlightened” ones, just ask them.

Better yet, as we speak, you can go read how Kerry campaign volunteers are speaking about their Democratic brethren in a live chat right now at a site called Democratic Underground.

Moore and his band of DNC sycophants are showing their true colors and as I have been saying for years now, all we have to do is hand them a microphone, turn on a camcorder, drag them out of the dark and into the light of day where real American’s can see them for what they are.

Moore is more wrong than usual this time around. But eventually, even he will lose the ability to believe his own bull as the numbers mound up in opposition of the “enlightened ones”.

We owe Michael Moore a debt of gratitude for helping to expose the modern DNC.

America really does need more than a one party government. Maybe real Democrats will take their Party back once the socialist, America-hating core, in control of the DNC has been exposed.

Only then can the Party once again begin to address the American people as something other than ignorant self-centered government-dependent low-life wimps unable to think for themselves.

One can hope, right?

Exposing Democrat Campaign Rhetoric

Part 2 of a Series

Written by JB Williams

©2004-08-30

The list of baseless DNC propaganda is long and growing. In the first of this series, I dispelled the myths regarding which party is owned by special interest groups, Democrats by more than a 10 to 1 margin, and which party was built on playing dirty politics, again Democrats. Part 1 of the series can be viewed at KerrySeries page.

In this segment, I want to address two of the BIGGEST lies being told by Kerry and the DNC.

Campaign Myth # 3 – Bush “lied” about WMD in Iraq.

Fact – The existence of WMD in Iraq was never in question. The world knew Hussein had them, because he had used them.

Fact – Combined US intelligence provided more than satisfactory evidence to support our suspicion that Hussein was continuing to develop and conceal WMD, particularly in those 4 years of no inspections pre 9/11.

Fact – WMD are NOT just a stockpile of nuclear warheads. It is any weapon that can be used to cause mass casualties, or mass destruction of property. A hand gun is NOT a WMD because it can only be used to kill one person at a time.

Fact - Harmful chemical and biological agents are a special type of WMD because they only have one purpose, to cause mass casualties, and they can be weaponized by advanced methods, on the tip of a warhead, or any number of low tech methods such as sent through the mail, or blown through a ventilation system, sprayed over a community, or dropped in your favorite local buffet.

Fact – A lunch box full of the right material deployed in a densely populated area can cause the death of millions of innocent civilians. It can be easily transported, almost entirely undetectable and impossible to combat or remedy once released.

Fact – Hussein had demonstrated a willingness to use these types of weapons in the past, including against his own people.

Fact – Every reliable intelligence agency in the free world offered additional supporting evidence that Hussein was continuing to develop and conceal WMD, including French, German and Russian agencies.

Fact – More than 75% of all US congress men and women, including the two prior administrations, John Kerry, John Edwards, Teddy Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Tom Daschle, Al Gore, Dick Gephardt, Hillary Clinton and others made the exact same case concerning WMD in Iraq as Bush. If Bush “lied”, then they all “lied”. (Kerry’s statements on Iraq can be viewed from the home page at www.JB-Williams.com )

Fact – Chemical, biological and yes, radioactive materials have in fact been found in Iraq since the removal of the brutal Hussein regime.

Fact – It’s NOT, nor was it ever a stockpile of long range nukes that we were concerned about in Iraq. It was the thermos full of easily concealed, transported and deployed materials that we were then, and remain now, concerned about ending up in the hands of a terrorist sleeper cell in the US.

Fact – On September 11, 2001, four passenger jets were converted into WMD causing the single largest body count in any one day in US history.

Fact – Nobody “lied”, they all made the same case, and they were all right.

Campaign Myth # 4 - Iraq was a mistaken departure from the war on terrorism.

Fact – September 11th forever changed how we view the world of threats to our American way of life, and our willingness to wait for the threat to materialize on American soil.

Fact – Terrorism was growing in frequency and reach throughout the 90’s as a result of our reluctance to confront the world wide problem directly. 9/11 was planned in the mid 90’s, and carried out more than 6 years later by a determined, innovative and patient enemy.

Fact – A connection between the Hussein regime in Iraq and Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan was made in 1998, evidenced in the 9/11 Commission Report on page 66.

Fact – Multiple Middle Eastern terrorist organizations have worked together and supported each other for decades. Though their motives and goals often vary, they have always operated under the theory that “my enemies’ enemy is my ally”.

Fact – Hussein had a long history of supporting and funding outside terrorist organizations and activities in the region, and there was no evidence to suggest that Al Qaeda would be any different.

Fact – Iraq presented a unique target of opportunity in the war on terrorism. (a) Iraq presented an opportunity to draw all terrorist organizations in the region into a central battlefield and theater of operation away from American soil. (b) The maneuver presented an opportunity to enforce formal US policy of regime change established by congress and the Clinton administration during the 90’s. (c) It presented an opportunity to develop over time a reliable free nation that would become a US ally in a region of the world that had been war torn for centuries.

Fact – Regime change in Iraq was NOT a departure from the war on terrorism, it was a flanking move in the war on terrorism. It was a calculated maneuver, one that has had immediate benefit, and will have long range benefits in the war on terrorism and the ability to secure the region and our nation in the future.

Many Americans don’t get any of this, and there are at least a few reasons why.

First, for security reasons we don’t share every detail of what the war plan might look like, how it is being implemented, or how it might change as the fluid nature of any war develops.

Second, it has been a long time since America has been at war anywhere, and we have never faced this type of enemy before, and never on our own soil.

Last, in a country where everything has political implications, great efforts have been made to intentionally mislead the public on this and many other topics.

If every American fully understood what I just presented, would any politician be able to run against this President?

In the next segment of this series, I want to move to domestic issues. Most important of these issues is our current economic condition, and jobs.

So I will address campaign myth # 5 – Bush has wrecked the US economy, and # 6 – Bush has been outsourcing our jobs.

Before Election Day, I hope to expose every DNC lie and present the facts on each issue to the American people.

John Kerry will get X number of votes from the “anybody but Bush” crowd no matter the mountain of evidence against that. But I trust most Americans can still recognize truth when they see it.

Kerry’s Real Problem…

Written by JB Williams

©2004-08-26

John Kerry is not short of troubles these days, from his 20 year Senate career that he left completely off of his resume’, to his poor choice of advisors like Sandy “burglar” Berger, or his visible inability to settle into one solid position on any single issue.

But John Kerry’s real problem is just now coming into focus for many who knew little about the man, despite a 20 year high-roller Washington career and his 30 year jet-set, ski slope, summer in France persona.

It’s no surprise that Kerry finds himself in the eye of a political firestorm that threatens to end his life in politics. Those of us who have watched him for 20 years or more, have been wondering when his road to the White House was going to run upon one of the many bridges he burned along the way.

It’s fitting that those brothers he chose to malign 30 years ago, lead the charge to topple his political kingdom 30 years later. Despite Kerry’s efforts to characterize their attack as some vast right wing conspiracy, the truth is much more obvious than that.

I’m reminded of the old saying, “watch who you trample over on your way up, because you will see them all again on your way down”.

The Swift Vet charges only serve to bring John Kerry’s real problem into our field of vision. His real problem is his snobbish liberal elitist personality that causes him to feel superior to his loyal and not so loyal subjects. His handling (or mishandling) of the Swift Vets attack is a perfect example.

Kerry knew that the guys he maligned 30 years ago was still out there and that they had not forgotten or forgiven. Yet despite his knowledge of the impending ambush he would invite, with a salute and a Hollywood style “reporting for duty”, he chose to pour salt into a very deep old wound by using his four months in Vietnam as the center piece of his bid for the White House.

He knew they would attack his self-appointed hero status, but he thought the attack would be manageable. When the attack came, a pre-planned Clintonian defense strategy was launched, as if the American people would not see through the Lanny Davis strategy and pick up on the real issue behind the issue.

Immediately, the process of maligning those he had maligned once before began. Efforts were under way to convince voters that Kerry’s truth was the real truth, and that those 254 fellow veterans, each and every one, were simply lying. This wouldn’t work anywhere else on earth, but in American politics post Clinton, fiction often becomes fact and anything is possible.

The plan was set in motion and next came the letter from the law offices representing the DNC and the Kerry campaign, not written to the Swift Vets threatening legal action for libel of their client, but to TV and Radio networks across the country that were set to air the Vets first ad. Again, ignoring the charges themselves, and his accusers, and attacking an innocent group who would only be the messenger.

Next was phase three of the plan, turning the Swift Vets attack into a Bush lead conspiracy, attempting to draw Bush’s Guard service into question, a process they had already started when DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe floated the idea that Bush was AWOL in Alabama, evidenced by the fact that he can’t prove he wasn’t. Still, Kerry offered no direct response to the charges, although by now, facts were beginning to quietly drip out through his handlers. Maybe that Cambodian Christmas seared into Kerry’s memory was just the fog of war.

Enter phase four of the plan, filing a legal complaint with the FEC accusing the Bush campaign of that which the Kerry campaign had already been caught doing, working with a 527. In a swift shift of position, all of the sudden it was Kerry, who was challenging the legitimacy of 527 activities, the very team who for months earlier, defended the use of 527’s. Again, no direct response to the charges, though more information continued to drip. Maybe that first Purple Heart scratch was self inflicted after all.

Then phase five, a call is placed by Kerry to fellow veteran Bob Dole in which Dole suggested he talk directly to his accusers and apologize for his actions. That prompted a second call placed by Kerry directly to Swift Vet Robert “Friar Tuck” Brant, in which Kerry asked for his help stopping the Vets, to which Brant responds, “I am one of them”.

Meanwhile, fellow Democrat Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa is sent out to further malign the enemy, calling Vice President Dick Cheney a “coward” for not serving in Vietnam at all, who had opted instead for deferment to attend college, not all that different from Bill Clinton, without the “loathing the military” part.

Turned away at every door, the BIG guns are brought out and former Senator and real war hero, triple amputee Max Cleland of Georgia, complete with wheelchair, and the saved one, Jim Rassmann, made a secret (announced in advance to all networks) heartfelt pilgrimage to Crawford Texas on short notice to plead for the President’s mercy.

As anticipated, they were unable to see Bush at his Crawford ranch. It didn’t matter, that wasn’t the real purpose of the trip to begin with, what immediately followed was. A photo op of the two veterans being rejected at a Crawford checkpoint, and it went exactly as planned.

Now this is a lot of work just to avoid answering the charges of a few fellow veterans directly, publicly, which brings me to the point of this article.

John Kerry’s biggest problem is John Kerry. He can’t run on his senate career because his voting record is opposite his campaign rhetoric. He can’t run on his ability to run anything, a company, a state, a municipality, a Girl Scout troop, because he has never run anything. And now, he can’t run on his self-proclaimed hero status because despite the fact that he has a dozen or so willing to stand with him in this effort, there are more than 250 standing opposed, and they won’t go away.

There’s more, former POW’s tortured with his pictures and words in captivity have a September surprise of their own for Kerry.

Kerry’s implosion is completely self-inflicted and it was completely predictable. Snared by his own web of lies and cornered by all the bridges he burned over the years, he is in serious trouble.

His most fatal fault is his belief that the American people are unable to absorb or comprehend what they see with their own eyes.

He is hoping against hope that voters will not notice that despite all of his triangulated efforts to fend off his attackers, they are growing in number and strength. Kerry is depending on the American people not noticing that through his barrage of counter attacks, he has yet to answer a single charge.

What little information has dripped out thus far supports the Swift Vet charges, not really in Cambodia for Christmas, and at least one of the wounds may have been self-inflicted.

Hardcore Deaniacs, Socialist Party members, anti-war, anti-capitalist and anti-American voters couldn’t care less about any of this. They are upset by the self-imposed implosion of their “anybody but Bush” candidate, and are more than happy to accept Kerry’s triangulation of the issue and his avoidance of his accusers at face value.

But the rest of America is getting a good look at what this guy is really all about. The DNC has been saying for months that Americans just needed to get to know John Kerry.

Well, now they are…

Who’s Betting on Whom?

The Death of One More Myth…

Written by JB Williams

©2004-08-19

In my last article, I laid to rest the notion that Kerry/Edwards were anything short of the two biggest political prostitutes in Washington in terms of sucking up special interest soft money. Despite Kerry’s “anti-special interest campaign rhetoric”, no McCain-Feingold legislation was going to keep the king Kong of soft money shake downs out of this Presidential race. (Next to marrying rich women and dodging fellow veterans, it’s one of Kerry’s few true talents.)

However, Kerry’s socialist billionaire buddy’s and Hollywood wacko’s won’t be able to overpower the votes of average Americans come November, people growing sicker by the minute of the most obscene election campaign in US history, courtesy of Kerry and the DNC.

527’s, 501’s and PAC’s are investing record sums in this election, (sure to reach a billion of that money “outlawed” by McCain-Feingold), and clearly, Kerry/Edwards are the landslide beneficiaries of all this dough, at least 88.5% of it as opposed to Bush’s 8.5%.

The real question is who are the voters betting their money (future) on? Part of his stump rhetoric is anti-special interest hyperbole, but Kerry has a clear 10-1 advantage over Bush in sucking up special interest money, more than $186 million as of the end of July from 37 of the top 50 political action organizations in the country, and a few more.

So what about individual contributors, average American voters, who are they betting their hard earned money on? It’s no secret that individuals base their contributions on who they feel best secures their future. So who do they believe in enough to put their money where their mouth is? I did the research, and found the answers quite interesting!

Based on IRS reports of campaign contributions for each candidate filed as of August 15, 2004, individual contributors in nearly all professions seem to feel quite different from the special interest organizations propping up the Kerry campaign. Here’s how individual contributions break down by the top 26 contributing professions, according to legal campaign filings with the IRS. (By candidate grouping, working sectors are listed in order of who contributes the most).
