Response From Readers
Interesting responses and emails from readers of my articles.
I get a lot of reader mail these days, from those who agree, those who don't, and those just trying to understand what is going on in our country. You don't have to agree to get posted here, you just have to write me with your honest feedback, and make it interesting. Thanks for all the support and feedback!

JB...

I'll tell you what I think. I think I'm pretty irritated that I beleived a pack of lies dished out by the DNC. I'm tired of being lied to or miseld by the media. Most of all, I'm embarassed. I spent a little time today looking at statistics at www.bls.gov The one thing that struck me as strange is that theres been a huge increase in americans that are now working second jobs. But theres such a wealth of information there, its hard to draw any conclusions. I've learned you have to be very careful who and what you believe when it comes to politics, I already knew that to a certain extent though. For now I'm getting my news from FOX, at least I don't have to hear so much gloom and doom. Thanks and Take Care. - Robby

HEY JB!!! That was very well put! Now we need to get that into the hands of the media. I'll see what I can do. Thanks! Greg W.

I use to be a non sniveling liberal but those Michael Moore, Madonna, Sarandon and Garofalo types scared me to death. The public school teachers rewriting HIstory and the College professors spewing their venom made me ask myself,"where are they taking MY country?" A conservative evolved slowly but strongly as I saw this deceit taking MY rights away in their selfish pursuits. The Democrat spin doctors telling me that black is white and good is bad pushed me over to the conservative front. Nana

Comments: Thanks for your article on "Jesus was a commie." I suspect that most of the hatred against George Bush, and "Anybody but Bush" is really rooted in an anti-Christian hatred. However, Jesus said that's the way it would be. And while the Bible does say a great deal about social responsibility (e.g. Amos), it aslo says "If they don't work, they are not to eat." Thanks for your contribution. You have been saying things that need to be said. I just wish that your voice and others, including mine, had a wider audience. Jerry Dale Patterson

Dear Mr Williams, The election is, mercifully, over, and to my considerable amazement, with an astoundingly good outcome. Many thanks to you and to all who contributed in any way to the outcome. THANK YOU. I write also to comment on Kerry's service record. Yes, the election is over. However, we still need to know, even more so than on 11/1/04, if he had a dishonorable discharge. We need to know if the biased and corrupt press allowed us to come within a hair of having a president who ran on his service record, refused to open his service record, and whose service record contains disgraceful material. This information is NEEDED for historical purposes. I think that Kerry will return to his senate seat, and will have to stand for reelection sometime. He remains a public figure. That would be a great opportunity for the press to push him with persistence about this issue. I urge and beg you to return to this issue, and do not let it drop. Best wishes, Laura Gutman, M.D.

Yet more fan mail. You're obviously a known quantity out there! Editor Mens News Daily

Comments: Your a fool in a fools world. You won the same way you republicans always win. you won on your bigotry, by shamelessly attacking yet another minority (gays & lesbians). You drew your base and carried all of the former slave states & territories. Geber

Comments: Sir: You are a f***ing nut! "Political writer" my ass... Do you even remember when you first sold out and became a tool for the corporacy for whom you spread your vile propaganda? Yeah, I have a suggestion for you: GO F**K YOURSELF! Sincerely, Kirk M. Fleck

This is the message in a nutshell! I am forwarding it to friends and relatives, keeping it for reference and marking your website as a "favorite." We won a battle -- we still have to win the war! Keep up the good work! Dee from Ohio

Comments: I want to thank you for your article, "Patriots 51, Socialists 48." I especially appreciate your comment on aborticide. However, since an abortion is a miscarriage, I wish you would have used the technically correct term. I noticed that you refer to yourself as a Christian. Unfortunately, that designation has been terribly corrupted. John Kerry claims to be a Christian. According to the Roman Catholic official doctrine, you are not a Christian unless you are a Papist. I, on the other hand, don't believe that people who beliieve saved by the Pope or Mary are Christians. In addition, Bill Clinton and Al Gore are Southern Baptists (which I am), and I don't think they are Christians either because they fail the fruit test. But, I digress. I have really appreciated your contributions. Again thanks. Jerry Dale Patterson

Re: Patriots 51, Socialist 48 I enjoyed your article very much. You expressed publicly what others are thinking... that we need to continue our policy of returning this nation to its founding fathers' ideals. We need to continue the fight for freedom in the world - especially here where parental rights and the right to self-defense 24/7 have eroded and been challenged with the lie that the authorities can and will be responsible for us. This nation was built on the premise of self-reliance and independence. I am glad that The People have used their moral clarity to perceive what has been happening, and were willing to state clearly what they desired: a return to moral standards and personal responsibility. The government cannot take over the responsibility for every individual in this country. It is impossible. So many programs that started with high-minded ideals have been turned into a never-ending money stream for many able individuals. Enough is enough! The country needs to understand that this is a nation built on risk and reward, hard work and achievement, and limited government to give a framework for the society. Thank you again for your article. Keep up the good work. Carol Andrew

JB, This is just a poor attempt to express my admiration and appreciation for you and all the hard work you did on my behalf (and, of course, all your other contacts). We have been rewarded as a nation (although, here in New Jersey, we are so out of touch with reality, we continued down that error-ridden path) God bless our new president and commander-in-chief and thanks be to God that all those Evangelicals came out in Ohio. Bob Hallett

Pardon my French, but Damn you're right again!!! right, right, right. Dave Mintmire

An utterly brilliant and powerful article JB. Fantastic! Joan

Great article. Very informative. Thank. Please keep up your good work. America needs you. E. Andreas

WE DID IT...Thank you...I love you...Lupi

Great work, JB! You made it happen, and I've enjoyed working with you as well.. NB

Thank you for your energy, you have kept me well informed with what I need to be informed about, keep up the good work! rusty

The writer is exactly correct - in every aspect. The most scary thing is that he HAD to say it. It is most frightening to me that so few Americans read and research what is being fed to them. Our education system has been turning out misfits for a long time and the population out there has little in the way of "tools" to read carefully and critically. I would hope that everyone would have the opportunity to read this article but, tragically, so few of will be able to do so. My compliments to JB Williams and to men like this author who have carried on a difficult fight. I pray to my God that the right way will be chosen on November 2. Bob Hallett

In regards to your article on "Ten Questions For Canidate Kerry!" This article hit on all issues that I would like answered from senator Kerry unfortunately I do not believe they will ever be answered. As a mother of a soldier who served in Iraq and is slated to go to Afghanistan no one really understands how important these questions are and I am truly sick of the media giving Kerry a pass, my son (God forbid) may have to serve under him. I know the realities of war,and I know what is at stake when my son gets deployed, I do not want my son to die under the flag of the UN or because of poor funding of our military we have already seen what 8years of the Clinton administration did I firmly believe Kerry would be worse. Thank you Denise Copeland

The Evil Within, the DNC Election Process Written by J. B. Williams Monday, September 13, 2004 I have posted your article in Scorched-Earth and sent it on to everyone on my email list. Kudo's for putting into words exactly what needed to be said. THANK YOU!!! It was intelligently written and reeked of good common sense. TechAngel

JB: Thanks for having the guts to post "Stolen Honor." We have linked to your page and to the film. I am shocked to think Sinclair sold out or chickened out. Once again, the Internet shows its power. RG Griffing, Editor/Publisher of the San Antonio Lightning Newspaper

Comments: It is very obvious that you deal in lies than in facts. My husband was a marine in Viet Nam.. He also only spent four months in country, he also took video tapes. But in those four months he saw more action than any of his friends. I believe John Kerry is a hero, he represented all those men who came back from Viet Nam, wose country betrayed them anf=d if you don't understand that, then you weren't there. I remember my husband going to a VFW because he thought he would find people who would understand what he had been through, instead they told him he couldn't join because he wasn't in a real war. So you better go back and take a look at what it really was like during that time. Yeah the same time when your candidate was a drunk and hiding forom the national guard. How dare you even compare him to anyone who actually served. You and your views are a disgrace to this country. Lillyanne Grogan

"A no nonsense commentator on American politics", this is inaccurate. Your article is nonsensical and hateful. I do find it reassuring that the extreme right has nothing better to debate then the same old lies and distortions. I have real concerns about BushInc; his ties to the anti-American Saudi Royals (check out his BCCI links)and terrorism, his ties to anti-american Sun Myung Moon- I don't appreciate federal contracts being awarded so Moonies can teach in our public schools. I also think it is interesting to check out the ties to Ollie North, Iran Contra, drug snuggling, and how Sun Myung Moon smeared Kerry for his investigations of Iran Contra. Kerry also investigated the BCCI.How about that Moonie/loonietoon shill Carlton Sherwood- he lied about and in his Moonie promotion book, and he is promoting lies and distotions for his employee's now. Small minded world-eh? Does Bush's ties to the hard core religious reconstructionism movement (CNP, PNAC, AEI) worry you at all? (This has nothing to do with love in your heart compassionate Christianity by the way) I also think Bush is afraid of the French because their itelligence agencies have a lot of interesting information about his ties to terrorism. How about the FBI alQueda expert-hero John O'Neill-that died at the WTC (not Nixon's trained attack dog. He stated that BushInc. impeaded his investigations, and that they and others connected to Saudi Oil money were the biggest blocks to investigating terrorism. Bush Inc. is the most deceitful and hateful administration of all time. There hateful smear tactics and lack of decency is trickling down and hurting our country in many ways. Unsigned...of course

Sinclair did anything EXCEPT let us down, that frankly is one of the more nasty remarks to someone who has put themselves at great risk on a professional and financial level. They did not have to do anything but they did, and the reaction they got for doing something is still causing the MSM to get frazzeled...and because of the Sinclair the truth is even more obvious. Sinclair did a great service and is still broadcasting parts of Stolen Honor. If not for Sinclair ---"Stolen Honor" would have received little or Zero press coverage at all. Sinclair did Veterans a great service, any other conclusion is short sighted. Wolf

Hello, I am glad someone FINALLY realizes the fact that the presidency is more than just "the President." The First Lady is an intergral part, and she also represents the women of America. I am doing a research paper on the role of the First Lady and how that affects her political involvement. I am learning all kinds of things about this role, and I think that "Mrs. Kerry" would be a disgrace to the position. I just hope the American people can see that as well come election day. Thanks for pointing this flaw out, Therese Beaulieu Saint Mary's College Notre Dame, IN

PERFECT, IN EVERY WAY! What an opening! This one is arguably the best one EVER! Post it. Send me the exact link to it on your website (or if you want me to post it from another one). This is terrific............and as with all of your other writings, it needs to be said..........and as only you, in your unbelievably BLUNT style (which is so magnetic).......can say. GO FOR IT......Charlotte

That is the best read I have had in along time. I do hope you are right abt their ship sinking be Nov 2 2004! I can't think of anything worse than Teresa unless it is more of Hillary. Thanks for your gift of journalism. Regards B Ferguson

Comments: I am responding to the letter you published from Capt Haynes, US Army, Iraq. I want you know how much I apprecciate your putting it on the internet for everyone to read and ponder. I have two sons, both in the US Marine Corps, who are both in Iraq. I have been in contact with them over these past few months and, I want you to know, that their story about their "mission" is identical to Captain Haynes God bless out military and this country. Robert Hallett

Comments: God Bless our men and women in the service. My grandson is home now after a year in Iraq. Hisfeelings are the same as yours. Donna Trego

We thank you for all your messages and for all your hard work as an accomplished writer !!!!!! It must feel good to know that you are highly respected by literally millions of Americans !!!!! Kathleen

Comments: THANK-YOU FOR THIS SITE. YOU HAVE DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB IN YOUR VIEWS AND TOPICS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU EMAIL TOPICS AND THINGS TO PEOPLE LIKE US IN A EMAIL SITE AS I WOULD LIKE TO GET YOUR EMAIL ON YOUR TOPICS. I HAVE MANY VIEWS AND WANT SO MUCH TO EXPRESS THEM AND EDUCATE THE DEMOCRAT VOTER'S THAT THEY NEED TO SEE THE REAL DEMOCRAT PARTY AND THE SENIOR CITIZEN'S BETTER SEE WHAT THEY STAND FOR WHICH IS RAISING YOUR TAXES AND MORE TAXES FOR ANY PROGRAM THEY CAN GET AND END THE PEOPLE IN THE POOR HOUSE. LIKE YOU SAY IT'S NOT THE PARTY BUT VOTE FOR WHO IS THE CHOICE AND THE MOST HONEST AND YOU WILL NOT FIND IT AS OF YET IN THE DEMOCRAT PARTY RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT AS OF NOW. THANK-YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL SITE AND I WILL BE IN HERE QUITE OFTEN TO READ ALL THAT IS THERE. I HAVE THE NEWSMAX MAGIZINE AND I BELONG TO THE CONSERVATIVE BOOK CLUB. ALSO I GET THE WASHINGTON TIMES. SINCERELY, STELLA CALDWELL

Mr. Williams, I just read your article and enjoyed it tremendously. Being a proud veteran and a defender of our first and second amendment rights, I feel I stand beside you in your efforts to see that the commander in chief stays the commander in chief. Rusty Mason

Comments: I'm a Viet-era vet (served in Korea, not 'nam)., folowed by 20 or so in the USAR. I like what I've seen so far at your web site. About the bottom of your page -- re: renting a politician - - - Some yeqars ago when I represented an insurance company selling policies to the self-employed, I called on a gentleman farmer in Arlington, TX named larry. His wife was a bank V.P. He had a college education and was well-spoken, He spoke of several recent trips he'd made to D.C. to camp on his representative's doorstep, pushing for some agricultural related legislation. I said, "Larry, you're educated, you're intelligent, you're well-spoken. . . . why don't you run for Congress?" And he said what I thought (tongue-in-cheek) were the wisest words I'd heard -- "Tom, I don't want to be a politician -- I just want to own one!" Keep up the good work. Tom Reese

Keep it up JB! We're behind you.! Steve

Comments: Loved the site. Loved the articles on communism, the soldiers letter and the Kerry Iraq documentary. I e-mailed my friend who emails everyone usually liberal garbage. I begged her to listen to the kerry Iraq documentary-and watch it fully. If she does that and does not get distracted I am sure she cant vote for him. I hope. By the way your opening page is wonderful. Also I am a medical professional and would like to get articles out about First aid for the American Health Care System. any ideas after this election would be great. Diane Holland

Comments: God bless all of you and your families. I pray daily for your safety, and that God will protect you. I am so proud of all of you. Thank you for being who you are. This does not begin to tell you how much I appreciate what you are all doing. God belss, Carolyn

I was very impressed with your "How Bias is CBS and the mainstream press." - I am 65 years old and have lived under this unfairness ever since I can remember starting with LBJ's "mushroom" commercial on Barry Goldwater. I still insist Pat Buchanan's career was cut short by the media who continues to this day to misrepresent him. I will not settle for anything less than Dan Rather's stepping down. - Please keep up your good work. Yours words are clear, crisp and to the point. We need more truthtellers like yourself. Thank you, Jack

Comments: Hello JB, Found your site through an internet pal over at Dontmoveon.org. I like your style, man. I shall read more. About your "Time to Just Say It!" article, I agree wholeheartedly. Check out what I wrote about the "Fair And Balanced" dribble at Fox http://www.fromthepen.com/swings/issue54.html . You'll see we think alike. Rock on. Shane

A million thanks. I only wish all americans had opportunity to read you. Fred Bagnall

I love your articles!! Keep em coming. Jeff, San Diego

Dear Mr. Williams, I just finished reading your article "Kerry's Real Problem" and want to thank you for writing such an outstanding sequence of truths. I am a decorated Navy veteran of 30 years service and I remember going into a restaurant in Norfolk, Virginia (in uniform) in 1971 and being told by a waitress "We Don't serve Baby Killers here"! A remark with John Kerry all over it. Keep up your good work. Sincerely, Albert T. Woodson YNC, Air Warfare, USN(Ret)

Dear sir: Enjoyed reading your article on Kerry's real problem. Good summary of what is transpiring. I am a Vietnam Vet, company commander, 4th Eng., 4th Inf. Div., 1968-1969. I, nor my two brothers who also served in Vietnam have ever forgotten Kerry and friends, the things that were said to us and about us et cetera. I personally am thrilled that the Swift Boat guys have surfaced. I have never contributed to anything political before, but have to them. At least they are exposing Kerry for what he is. Hopefully the political process will expose his senate record as a bleeding heart liberal, tax and spend socalist? But, at least the Swift Boat guys are exposing his character for the job blow on the street to see. Not much of a Bush fan, but he certainly is the lessor of the two evils. Feally wish there were better choices, hopefully next time. Again, enjoyed your article. Bruce Squires Fargo, ND

Re: Communism... Alive And Well? Mr. Williams - This is a very powerful and chilling article. Thank you. Jan Larson

You are so right my friend. I worked for the post office for 27 years before I retired and let me tell you I've never worked with a bunch of more lazy do nothing bums in my life! Your right when you say the union treats these bums on a equal and sometimes higher status than the workers who hump every day to get the job done. The union would be out of business if not for these bums. Eddie Vietnam & Gulf War Era Vet.

JB, I've been to your website and find a good deal of common sense and truth. You are bookmarked on my "favorites-list". Good God man!......what are these freaks doing to our country. It's sad....it's maddening......and it's wrong! I'll make sure you are heard by many serious and concerned citizens. Keep it up.....you are correct. Sincerely, Steve Dufort

Dear Sir, I just finished your article and have a question for you...are you still a KKK member ? Hopefully, Mr. Kerry will be our next President...I can't wait to see Bush the lier to return to Texas or even Bagdad for ever !!! he will be perfect as the new Sadam there ! Sincerely, P. Meyer

When thinking about the invasion of Iraq, ask yourself this...WWJD? I don't think he would have done what your president did. As a Christian, I am sickened by the war-retoric that W uses, and his actions are even worse. Kerry is much more Christian than W. John Pulliam

JB, If only more socialist libs would read your truth. Keep up the good work. David Mintmire Southaven, Mississippi

JB, You write: "...the linkage between true communists and their unsuspecting bedfellows in the Democratic Party." What if some of the bedfellows aren't so unsuspecting? Greetings, Bob Don't move on, clean house. www.dontmoveon.org

I just located your article on the internet "Liberal Democrats or Closet Socialists" Well done! I printed it out for reference. Keep up the good work. Dave Jensen

The subject was "America At War" I really love how u have put into words how alot of people feel. It is awsome to see that someone else agrees with me on this subject in alot of diferant ways. I have relatives over sea right now and some that are getting ready to go back over. I support them with my love and wishes that they will do well. I make sure that I write them as much as possible and that I try to send things to them that would help them out. Even though I do not like war OUR families are over there doing what they think is right to them and that they feel obligated to do for their country to keep their families and loved ones safe so that 9-11 wont have to happen again. Thank u for everything! Heather Bender, Richmond VA.

I will not be used, taken advantage of, patronized, or condescended to. I am every bit as smart as you, if not smarter. As Christians do with the Bible, you ignore what does not fit your agenda. You want evidence, I offered you evidence and you didn't want it. Might prove you wrong, heaven forbid. 'Whatever would I do? ' If you're an example of a Republican, I'm glad I'm not one. In the immortal words of that paragon of virtue and goodness, Cheney, 'Go f**k yourself.'Lisa Beebe

Iam an Indian Catholic who belives truly in pro-life methods and actions , I just read your article "an open letter to liberals" where you strongly argued for life and the wrongs of so called liberals who believs in life but stands for leaders against life. I was under the notion that in america all the media is for 'Death' but from this moment , I am feeling that there are men who stands strongly for real morals , congrats for the article john

I was referred here and am impressed--this election is going to prove the failure of the American citizens ablilty to be responsible. We need new leadership to "spank" Americans into wise behavior. I will be revisting this site often ty

Thanks for all your comments. I am glad you are one of the very few conservatives who have the spinal cord to take people on...others such as Michael Reagan and the Human Events magazine simply run and hide. Regards, G Chell

You are "SPOT ON" again. Your analysis of this political 'great devide' is correct. So, what should we do? Its simple really. Knowing full well that ANY action by any conservative president, lawmaker, judge, (or any conservative for that matter) will be criticized and attacked by the left, we simply do the right thing....and let God, who judges rightly, sort it out in the log run. Doing 'right' in the now always has long term results, even if the short term is painful. If Pres Bush loses, then we deserve the leaders we elect. I thank God that the conservative moral compass always points to "true north"!! And I'm thankful for your clear defense of the right. Carry on, soldier! Love to hear from you. Best regards, Alan Wagner

You deserve all of my support.........and surely the support of many gratified others. You earn it with every blockbuster new piece that you write for truly hungry people out in cyberland. Just don't stop! Charlotte

This guy hits it right on the head! Thanks to Charlene, feverishly fighting the good fight on the Left Coast for turning me on to this article. Mario

I had about 37 immensely positive reactions within 15 minutes of sending it out last night........and more coming in now! You need to have your writing on some major conservative websites! That's becoming obvious. We need YOUR VOICE OUT THERE! Charlotte

Hi - I have a friend who forwards to me your articles. I am enjoying them very much. Could I be put on your email list and I can let her know she doesn't need to forward them to me? Keep up the good work - love it! Shirley Nagy Costa Mesa, CA

Mr. Williams, I absolutly loved your recent article, Bring It On...Swifty! Your no nonsense style of writing is exactly what needs to be said to Kerry. I served with MAG-13 in Chu Lai with the Marines in 1968-69, and when I returned home and to college, I was treated with contempt and at times open hostility as a result of my service, and Kerry's lies. And did I forget Hanoi Jane. Again, a fine article. Ron Woodruff Akron, IN

Well said. Keep it up. Your kind of analysis is needed to keep the elite media types on their toes. They can no longer make the news slant just their way. The NYT editorial on the Swift Boat Veterans is only one case in point out of dozens and dozens. Thank you Marlowe Anderson

Mr. Williams, I am sitting here surfing late at night due to my liberal induced insomnia. Was following links on kerry and came across your site. I can tell I will be back in the future as quick perusal of your list of "idiots and scoundrels" is the duplicate of mine. Keep it up! Terry from Grants Pass, Oregon
